Golden Lough | 金水湾
Private owned villa compound finished in 2003. Located at the cross road of Jinji lake Avenue and Xihualin street, at southeast side of Jinji Lake, northeast to Dushu Lake.
These villas occupy a total area of 130,000 square meters. There are in total around 200 villas and townhouses. Around 50% is rented to expats from around the world. The advantage of this compound is for its mature community for expat families with kids, creating a nice international atmosphere for new coming expats to quick adapt to a new life and make new friends with similar background; the layout of the houses is spacious and with decent size of garden compared to other house compounds; with comparatively better location. The disadvantage is the aging problem for this compound, cause it is with around 10 years old; the leakage problem basically for all the houses is happening every year; and compared to the quality, the rental is higher than other villa compounds. All the houses are owned by individual landlords with different interior designs and qualities. Some of the houses are equipped with floor heating, some are not. Central Air con is popular.
